World war 2 was world war 1 all over again.in 1939,Germany invaded Poland.3 days later France and England declared war.ww2 had started. Europe quickly fell to the Nazis.2 years later, pearl harbor was attacked. America was in ww2. They were against the axis powers of Japan Italy and Germany. Japan had its first major loss in 1942 at Midway and the war started to go poorly for the Japanese since then. The war Germany was affectively over after D Day and Europe was liberated.  in 1945 America dropped the first atomic bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki which ended ww2.
